homework or any other productive fun activities.
DON’T
use the library to goof off.
DO
explore and have a good time.
DON’T
use the library as a gym. Please do not run, jump, wrestle, or partake in any other horseplay inside the library.
DO
ask librarians for help finding any resources and information.
DON’T
be a distraction to others while they are trying to work.
DO
use a secure lid with your drinks at the library.
DON’T
leave a mess; throw your garbage away.
DO
display appropriate behavior while using computers.
DON’T
overcrowd, eat, drink or run around while using computers.
DO
keep your hands to yourself.
DON’T
hit, punch, grab, or touch anyone inappropriately.
DO
be friendly and respectful.
DON’T
be rude. Think before you speak.
DO
use the areas with chairs when in the library.
DON’T
sit on the floor or tables.
DO
use the teen area upstairs, the Quiet Room or the J Fiction area.
DON’T
use the Storytime area which is reserved for young children.
DO
share the Quiet Room/Monroe Room and the teen area.
DON’T
use the Quiet Room/Monroe Room or the teen area as your private gathering space. These areas have open access to anyone in the community while we are open.
