Information for potential book and material donors:

The Hazel Park Library Friends will accept donations during regular library hours.

All materials must be in good or like new condition.

We cannot accept books/ materials that are dirt, damaged, torn, stained, moldy or musty.

We DO accept:

Hardcover and paperback books

VHS, CDs, cassettes, DVDs and record albums

Audiobooks

Textbooks

Magazines

Computer Software and books

Games and puzzles (That have all of the pieces.)

We DO NOT accept:

Readers Digest Condensed Books

Personally recorded VHS tapes/ cassettes

Encyclopedia sets (or individual volumes)

If you have a large donation and need help unloading it, please call the library before coming to make sure there is a someone available to help you.

Donated items may be put into the library collection. Those items that aren’t added to the collection may be given to the Hazel Park Library Friends for future book sales.

Donations will not be accepted during the week of the book sale.
